Alabama Mosaic -- The purpose of AlabamaMosaic is to make unique historical treasures from Alabama's archives, libraries, museums, and other repositories electronically accessible to Alabama residents as well as scholars throughout the world.
Alabama StateGenSites -- The StateGenSites database started as an in-depth study of Alabama (by Bill) and Pennsylvania (by Michelle). It has since become one of the most popular directories for U.S. genealogy, categorizing links by state within 27 categories.
Ancestry Library -- This database is available only onsite at the Archives. Search U.S. Census Records from 1820 to 1930, Social Security Death Index, marriage records, immigration records, city directories, and much more.
Alabama Cemetery Records --
Search Alabama cemetery records from the AccessGenealogy website. Records are listed by county then name of cemetery within the Alabama county. Most cemeteries include complete indices at the time of transcription.
Georgia Cemetery Records -- Search Georgia cemetery records from the AccessGenealogy website. Also available is a list of cemeteries by county.
Interment.net -- A free online library of burial records from thousands of cemeteries across the world, for historical and genealogy research.

Pictures of the Civil War --
Most of the photographs are part of the Records of the Office of the Chief Signal Officer, Record Group 111, and Records of the War Department General and Special Staffs, Record Group 165. The records include photographs from the Matthew B. Brady collection, purchased for $27,840 by the War Department in 1874 and 1875, photographs from the Quartermaster's Department of the Corps of Engineers, and photographs private citizens donated to the War Department.
